Job summary

Rust-Oleum Corporation in Maryland is seeking a qualified engineer to lead project execution and process improvements across manufacturing operations. You will use Lean principles to increase productivity, manage cross-functional projects, write procedures, and train site teams while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Required is a BS in Chemical Engineering with 2+ years in engineering, strong communication, and leadership in CI environments.

Qualifications

  • BS in Chemical Engineering preferred.
  • Industrial/Electrical engineers with hands-on mechanical & chemical experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Lead project execution including process improvements and equipment installation.
  • Provide training and documentation; write SOPs and maintenance training plans.
  • Apply Lean principles to improve reliability, reduce changeover times and production losses.
  • Manage cross-functional projects and coordinate with plant personnel and maintenance teams.
  • Ensure Process Safety Management (PSM) compliance in daily operations.
