Job summary

American Electric Power (AEP) is hiring an Engineer/Engineer Technologist Associate for an on-site role in New Albany, OH. You will perform intermediate engineering tasks, apply theory to practical problems, and help drive improvements in our business processes.

You’ll work under supervision, develop technical reports, and coordinate with team members while building foundational professional credentials, including potential PE licensure in the future.

Qualifications

• Entry-level position for new graduates with a Bachelor’s degree in ABET-accredited engineering.
• Passing the Fundamentals of Engineering examination is encouraged and preferred.
• VP or above may waive the degree requirement for non-ABET-accredited programs.

Responsibilities

• Apply intermediate engineering knowledge to varied assignments and analyses.
