Job summary

SRCTec, LLC in Syracuse, NY is seeking a full-time Electronics Hardware Technician on 2nd shift (3:30 PM – 12 AM) to assemble, disassemble, and rework production electronic warfare and radar systems and sub-assemblies.

You will follow assembly procedures, read wiring diagrams and drawings, use hand and power tools, perform limited soldering, document discrepancies, and assist with inventory and packing for shipment.

Job description

SRCTec, LLC is currently seeking a full-time Electronics Hardware Technician to support manufacturing operations on 2nd shift (3:30 PM - 12 AM) at our location in Syracuse, NY. The selected candidate will assemble, disassemble, and rework production electronic warfare and radar systems and sub-assemblies.

What You’ll Do

• Adhere to established assembly procedures and production processes to support daily manufacturing operations.
• Assemble, disassemble, and rework complex electronic and mechanical assemblies.
• Interpret and work from wiring diagrams and mechanical drawings.
• Utilize a variety of hand and power tools; properly employ and maintain calibrated torque tools.
• Perform limited soldering, wire preparation, and wire harness assembly.
• Identify and accurately document discrepancies and rework actions throughout the production process.
• Participate in inventory and pack-out operations to facilitate product shipment.
• Complete masking and demasking operations on intricate circuit card assemblies to facilitate the conformal coating process.

What You’ll Bring

• Education and experience: High School Diploma or equivalent and 5+ years related experience OR Associate’s degree in related field with 0+ years related experience. Any combination of education and experience will be considered.
• Ability to interpret and work from mechanical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Experience using basic hand tools, power tools, and calibrated torque tools.
• Intermediate computer comprehension skills, to include the Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodations.

Total compensation for this role is market competitive. The anticipated salary range for this position based out of Syracuse, NY is estimated at $30.67/hour - $33.04/hour.
