Product research, listing on multiple on-line platforms, and the receiving and shipping of product is also part of this job function.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESPre-sort items using manual and electronic methodsSort, identify, process, prepare, organize, and test items to be posted on on-lineUtilize tools to aid in item descriptions such as gram/weight scales, measuring tapeClean and repair scratched media as neededSpecialize in individual, small-large lots/groupings, designer lots, themed lots, grab boxes/grab bags, as well as mixed lots and other misc. /specialty lotsOrganize inventoryConsistently meet or exceed listing goalsCommunicate with Supervisor / Manager to correct any problems that prevent items from being postedProcess returns and refundsAssist with relisting and recycling of itemsKeep accurate and efficient order of inventory itemsPerform office housekeeping to present a neat and professional imageMaintain regular, dependable attendance and punctualityTo accommodate business needs and objectives, other duties may be assigned by Team Lead or Manager.Assure accuracy of identification, sorting, allocation and PPI (price per item) valueEnsure all totes and items received are sorted/identified accurately and properly on a consistent basis with a high level of accuracy and efficiency, including store allocation/location, date received/processed, weights and measurementsCommunicate with Supervisor / Manager to correct any problems that prevent items from being posted online or shipped to customersProcess returns and refundsAssist with relisting and recycling of itemsCommunicate with Supervisor / Manager when shipping and transportation procedures are not being followedAccurately track critical metrics including budget reports, inventory data and customer satisfaction levelsKeep accurate and efficient order of inventory itemsRecord inventory items in spreadsheetsREQUIREMENTSHigh School Diploma or G.E.D., Some college or trade certificate in artistic or technical field3 years of experience in a service-driven environment required.Highly organized and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Demonstrate necessary computer skills.Handle fast paced environment with high levels of stress and remain flexible.Analyze, evaluate situations, and develop alternatives for conflict resolution.Proficient with spelling/grammar including use of abbreviations, definitions and item conditionsKnowledge of Microsoft Office programs: Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position.For positions that require driving, must maintain a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance coverage, and be able to travel as needed if you drive your vehicle during company business.To learn more about Goodwill San Antonio and to view available positions visit: www.goodwillsa.org.Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled
