Under minimal supervision, operates cardiac ultrasound equipment to produce optimal echocardiograph images for diagnostic evaluation of chamber measurements, blood flow characteristics, and cardiac function for adult and geriatric patients.

Required qualifications:

• Coursework/Training: Completion of a Cardiovascular Ultrasound program.
• Coursework/Training: Environmental orientation within 30 days of hire.
• Coursework/Training: Unit Specific Competency within 30 days of hire.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• 6 months Experience in a hospital setting working with adult and geriatric patients.
