Job summary

US Foot and Ankle Specialists seeks an Associate Podiatrist to support our growing practice in the Highland/Edwardsville, IL area within the St. Louis metro region.

You’ll work with experienced physicians using podiatry-specific technology to deliver high-quality care. You will perform exams, diagnose conditions, craft treatment plans, and participate in orthotics, PT oversight, and surgical interventions while educating patients on foot health and prevention.

Qualifications

  • DPM degree from an accredited podiatric medical school.
  • Completion of a 3-year podiatric residency program (or in final year).
  • Board-eligible or board-certified in ABPM or ABFAS, or actively pursuing.
  • Missouri and/or Illinois podiatry license (or in the process of obtaining licensure).
  • Strong clinical, diagnostic, and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct examinations of feet, ankles and lower extremities.
  • Diagnose foot and ankle conditions and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Administer orthotic devices and oversee physical therapy.
  • Perform surgical interventions as required.
  • Educate patients on foot care, injury prevention and lifestyle changes.

In your role, you will conduct thorough examinations of patient's feet, ankles and lower extremities. You will diagnose various foot and ankle related medical conditions and injuries, while developing personalized treatment plans. Your responsibilities will also extend to administering orthotic devices, overseeing physical therapy, performing surgical interventions, and educating patients on proper foot care, injury prevention, and lifestyle modifications.
