Job summary

US Foot and Ankle Specialists’ Frederick/Hagerstown practice in the Greater Washington, DC Region seeks an Associate Podiatrist. The role involves collaborative patient care, examinations, and surgical involvement in foot and ankle medicine.

Qualifications

  • DPM degree from an accredited podiatric medical school.
  • Completion of a 3-year podiatric residency program (or in final year).
  • Board-eligible or board-certified in ABPM or ABFAS, or actively pursuing.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough examinations of patients’ feet, ankles, and lower extremities.
  • Diagnose a range of foot and ankle medical conditions and injuries.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Administer orthotic devices and oversee physical therapy.
  • Perform surgical interventions as required.
  • Educate patients on proper foot care, injury prevention, and lifestyle modifications.
