Providence Distribution Clerk position involves distributing and maintaining medical supplies to point-of-care locations across the campus. You will perform inventories, replenish stock, and adjust par levels in collaboration with supervisors.
This role requires about 1 year of distribution/warehouse experience and familiarity with automated systems. Healthcare supply chain exposure is a plus, and the team supports patient-focused care.
As part of the team, the Distribution Clerk is responsible for the distribution and maintenance of medical supplies and equipment to point-of-care locations throughout the campus independently or with indirect supervision. Using automated systems as tools, performs physical inventories on regular intervals, replenishes and rotates stock, facilitates complete capture of patient account charges, adjusts supply par levels as appropriate in concert with supervisor and manager, and keeps point of care supply areas organized. Makes recommendations for improvement. Responsible for maintaining the efficient functioning of the central supply and equipment inventories, and responds to customer supply orders for special items throughout the shift. Acts as resource for less experienced staff.
