Job summary

Webull is seeking an Associate Director in Treasury & Cash Management to own daily cash positioning, liquidity optimization, and regulatory compliance. This is a high-visibility role based in our New York office, with opportunities to drive automation and process improvements.

You will lead cash forecasting, oversee wires/ACH transfers, and ensure accurate reconciliation while mentoring junior treasury staff and collaborating with auditors and tax teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 6+ years corporate finance with 3–4 years cash positioning and liquidity management.
• Direct experience in retail brokerage/fintech is advantageous.
• Experience with Treasury Management Systems (TMS), advanced Excel functions, or ERP treasury modules.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily cash positions to optimize liquidity across accounts.
• Review and execute high-value wires, ACH, and debit transfers.
• Oversee reconciliation of cash activity to GL and resolve discrepancies.
• Conduct variance analysis on cash flow forecasts; provide actionable insights to management.

About The Role & Team

We are looking for a meticulous, proactive, and forward-thinking Treasury professional to join our finance team. This role is a critical hub for our financial operations, responsible for balancing the firm’s daily cash position, optimizing liquidity, and ensuring strict compliance with industry regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of financial markets, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is looking for a high-visibility role where they can take true ownership of cash management processes and drive automation.

In This Role, You Will

• Liquidity & Positioning: Monitor and manage daily cash positions to ensure optimal, friction-free liquidity across all corporate and settlement accounts.
• Transaction Execution: Review, approve, and execute high-value wires, ACH, and debit card fund transfers to meet daily operational, settlement, and regulatory needs.
• Reconciliation & Controls: Oversee the reconciliation of prior-day cash activities to the general ledger; proactively investigate and resolve any discrepancies or complex banking inquiries.
• Forecasting & Analysis: Conduct detailed variance analysis on cash flow forecasts, transforming raw data into actionable insights for senior management.
• Process Optimization: Champion an automation-driven mindset by auditing current cash management workflows and designing scalable process or system enhancements.
• Audit & Compliance Liaison: Serve as the primary operational point of contact for internal/external auditors, tax accountants, and regulatory examination teams.
• Team Leadership: Assist in training, mentoring, and supporting junior treasury staff members to build a resilient, high-performing team.

The Skills You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related business field.
• 6+ years of corporate finance experience, with at least 3-4 years explicitly focused on cash positioning, liquidity management, and banking integrations.
• Direct experience within a retail brokerage, fintech, or fast-paced financial services environment is highly advantageous.
• Proven experience utilizing Treasury Management Systems (TMS), advanced Excel functions, or ERP treasury modules.
• Exceptional analytical problem-solving skills, crisp verbal/written communication, and a track record of driving initiatives independently.

This role is based in our New York Office (44 Wall Street), where in-person collaboration fuels growth, mentorship, and innovation. At Webull, we’re committed to fair, equitable, and transparent compensation. The base salary range is ($135,000- $165,000) annually, plus a discretionary bonus and full benefits.
