Job summary

Gateway Longview, Inc. seeks an Associate Director for its Therapeutic Preschool/ Lynde School program to oversee high-quality, integrated educational and clinical services for students and their families in Buffalo and Williamsville, NY.

The role leads program development, budgets, staff supervision, and collaboration with families, districts, and providers to ensure alignment with state and federal requirements and deliver comprehensive therapeutic education.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and be detail oriented.
• Ability to utilize restraints after Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) training.
• Trauma-informed approach to assess needs and provide support.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of daycare regulations.

Responsibilities

• Administer all aspects of the Therapeutic Preschool Program to serve students with disabilities.
• Develop and implement educational and clinical programming aligned with ED/S.E.D. requirements.
• Prepare annual budget and manage within financial limits.
• Foster partnerships with families to inform educational planning and services.
• Lead curriculum development aligned with NYSED standards and IEPs.
