Merck & Co., Inc. in Rahway, NJ, seeks an Associate Director, Global Engineering Solutions Strategic Planner and Scheduler to lead front-end scheduling for a portfolio of capital projects at US sites.

You will coach engineers, coordinate with multiple teams, and drive standard work in project planning. The role requires deep expertise in end-to-end scheduling, FEL phases, and production planning, with hybrid work and 25–50% travel.

Formación

• Eight years of experience with equipment and facility design in pharma manufacturing or related.
• Experience coaching engineers in developing and executing project schedules using lean solutions.
• Experience in business studies, peer reviews, and standard work initiatives within GES.

Responsabilidades

• Support a portfolio of Capital Projects with front end loaded schedules for US sites.
• Provide expertise to business studies, peer reviews, and ongoing improvement initiatives for standard work within GES.
• Lead and collaborate with the Integrated Capital Project Team and related groups (GES Tech Center, Delivery, PBS, Engineers) to develop schedules.
• Evaluate and challenge engineering partners' deliverables across biological, chemical, safety, utilities, and validation domains.
• Facilitate planning sessions and guide teams through planning strategies; lead scheduling workshops for capital projects.
• Plan engineering aspects including scope, design, lead times, vendor interaction, and commissioning/qualification.
• Develop End to End schedules FEL1–FEL3 with EPCM partners and Project Controls; emphasize SSG best practices.
• Create High-Level Production Plan strategies and ensure adherence through project teams.
