Job summary

Washington University School of Medicine's Department of Radiation Oncology seeks an experienced Associate Director of Clinical Research Operations to lead IIT program expansion, standardize processes, and ensure high-quality execution across oncology trials.

Reporting to the Chair and Executive Director, you will oversee the Clinical Trials Office, mentor staff, implement EDC/eReg platforms, and partner with finance to forecast budgets, advancing strategic growth and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degrees preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of clinical research experience.
• Experience leading IITs or investigator-initiated oncology trials strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with FDA, ICH/GCP, and OHRP regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead IIT program expansion and governance for multi-center oncology studies.
• Oversee Clinical Trials Office operations and staff mentorship.
• Drive enterprise system implementations (EDC/eReg) and data integration.
• Forecast budgets and build project-tracking dashboards.
• Collaborate with WashU and BJC HealthCare partners to streamline workflows.
