Job summary

Adelphi Research seeks a Qualitative Associate Director to design and manage advanced qualitative studies in the pharmaceutical space. You will moderate in-depth interviews and focus groups, write comprehensive reports, and partner with clients to deliver actionable insights.

The role requires at least 5 years in pharma market research, strong presentation skills, and willingness to travel for in-person client work. Hybrid office presence is expected as part of Omnicom’s in-office policy.

Qualifications

We are looking for new talent to join Adelphi Research. We conduct market research, both qualitative and quantitative, and are exclusive to the pharmaceutical space. Through our work, we help provide insights that bring several new drugs to market to fundamentally impact the lives of patients living with a myriad of conditions, including oncology, neuroscience, immunology, diabetes and others. Your responsibilities as a Qualitative Associate Director include:

• The design, management, and delivery of all aspects of superior custom qualitative research projects
• Ability to work on and contribute to multiple projects simultaneously
• Expert in moderating telephone/in-person in-depth interviews and focus groups
• Writing ability to author report deliverables
• Expert partnering with clients to find creative solutions to address key business issues; expanding and nurturing those relationships
• Active participation in new business development with responsibility for annual sales/profitability target
• In person client travel is required

What you need to do the job:

• Bachelor’s Degree essential; advanced education preferred
• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience as a market researcher in the pharmaceutical industry
• Demonstration of a deep understanding of the market research needs of pharmaceutical and biotech products in various stages of the product life cycle (Phase 2 through Phase 4 clinical trials, pre-launch promotional development, in-line/mature products)
• Ability to work effectively as a team member within a highly collaborative working environment, particularly when involved in large projects requiring collaboration
• Understanding of quantitative processes, analysis, and report deliverables
• Strong communication and presentation skills
  

$90,000 - $110,000

Omnicom’s policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager.
