Job summary

UnitedHealthcare is seeking an Associate Director, Provider Network Contracting to guide development of networks, pricing modeling and cost management in a leadership role. This position focuses on building geographically competitive, high-quality networks while aligning pricing with value and outcomes.

You will lead cross-functional teams, implement rate-setting strategies, and drive financial analyses that support optimal care delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of supervisory level experience in a network management-related role handling complex network providers with accountability for business results.
• 2+ years of experience developing product pricing and utilizing financial modeling in making rate decisions.
• 2+ years of experience managing a medical cost and administrative budget.
• 2+ years of experience with provider contracting.
• Expert level of knowledge of Medicare Resource Based Relative Value System (RBRVS), DRGs, Ambulatory Surgery Center Groupers, etc.

As an Associate Director within our network contracting team, you'll guide the development and support of provider networks as well as unit cost management activities through financial and network pricing modeling, analysis and reporting. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer the following benefits:

The salary for this role will range from $112,700 to $193,200 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
