Job summary

UnitedHealthcare is seeking an Associate Director in our network contracting organization. You will guide development of cost-efficient, broadly accessible provider networks and manage unit cost performance through pricing modeling and reporting.

The role requires supervisory experience, deep knowledge of provider contracting, and budget management, with remote work flexibility within the U.S. This position offers a comprehensive benefits package and advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of supervisory level experience in a network management-related role handling complex network providers with accountability for business results
  • 5+ years of experience with provider contracting
  • 2+ years of experience developing product pricing and utilizing financial modeling in making rate decisions
  • 2+ years of experience managing a medical cost and administrative budget
  • Expert level of knowledge of Medicare Resource Based Relative Value System (RBRVS), DRGs, Ambulatory Surgery Center Groupers, etc.

  • Develop functional, market level and/or site strategy, plans, production and/or organizational priorities

As an Associate Director within our network contracting team, you'll guide the development and support of provider networks as well as unit cost management activities through financial and network pricing modeling, analysis and reporting. Primary Responsibilities

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of supervisory level experience in a network management-related role handling complex network providers with accountability for business results
  • 5+ years of experience with provider contracting
  • 2+ years of experience developing product pricing and utilizing financial modeling in making rate decisions
  • 2+ years of experience managing a medical cost and administrative budget
  • Expert level of knowledge of Medicare Resource Based Relative Value System (RBRVS), DRGs, Ambulatory Surgery Center Groupers, etc.
  • Driver's License and access to a reliable transportation
  • All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $112,700 - $193,200 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
