This role sits at the intersection of finance and technology, supporting the modernization of financial planning, forecasting, and reporting within the Business Intelligence Group Center of Excellence (BIG-COE). The Associate Director will contribute to digital transformation initiatives leveraging SAP S/4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), and Microsoft Fabric to enhance agility, accuracy, and strategic value across finance operations.
This position is accountable for generating strategic insights, enhancing internal capabilities in resource allocation, identifying growth drivers, and supporting channel prioritization efforts. The role requires close partnership with global finance as well as regional and sub‑regional teams to deliver effective business solutions and address capability gaps through the implementation of advanced planning and reporting tools that promote a data‑driven culture within the PFR function. A strong financial background in the pharmaceutical industry is essential to provide meaningful input to business discussions and decision‑making processes.

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is $132,000 – $193,600.
Full‑time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance). In addition, Lilly offers a comprehensive benefit program to eligible employees, including eligibility to participate in a company‑sponsored 401(k); pension; vacation benefits; eligibility for medical, dental, vision and prescription drug benefits; flexible benefits (e.g., healthcare and/or dependent day‑care flexible spending accounts); life insurance and death benefits; certain time off and leave of absence benefits; and well‑being benefits (e.g., employee assistance program, fitness benefits, and employee clubs and activities).
