Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific in the Wilmington, NC area is seeking an Associate Director level Operations Strategy Consultant to drive proposal development and global clinical trial strategy. You will lead the operational plan for RFPs and bid defenses, coordinate with Clinical Operations, Commercial, and GPD, and ensure timely, profitable delivery of proposal deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic qualification.
• 12+ years of related experience or equivalent combination of education, training, & experience.

Responsibilities

• Identifies and recommends operational proposal strategic plans for assigned area (TA or Segment) that align with commercial win strategy; determines the level of proposal deliverable and key operations messages, and manages the triage process within clinical operations to meet proposal deliverables.
• Ensures budget reflects operational strategy and oversees achievement of profitability targets.
• Partners with Clinical operations, Commercial organization and GPD to enhance proposal efficiency management in order to decrease COS.
• Drives the development of the operations segment of the proposal deliverable within prescribed timelines, disseminates operational strategy to proposal team and develops KPI's, ensuring a successful operations segment of the deliverable.
• Collaborates with the cross functional team in matrix environment to establish an efficient and aligned process within clinical operations.
• Manages operations escalation process and advises commercial strategy team.
• Assesses cross functional satisfaction and recommends future strategy and actions to ensure the overall success of the process and outcomes.
• Recommends and implements revisions for Clinical Operations post-award to successfully execute proposal.
