Job summary

Lilly is seeking a Medical Science Liaison (Dermatology) in the Pittsburgh area. This field-based role focuses on scientific exchange with healthcare professionals, delivering up-to-date medical information and building trusted relationships while traveling extensively.

The MSL will engage with specialists, synthesize data, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance medical and scientific goals in dermatology.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in health sciences (e.g., PharmD, MD, PhD) required with 2-3 years of relevant clinical or therapeutic experience.
• Masters or bachelor’s level degree in health sciences considered if 5+ years of clinical/research/industry experience present.
• Valid US driver's license and acceptable driving record required.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; Lilly will not sponsor visas.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high level of technical expertise in therapeutic area through continuous learning.
• Engage in scientific exchange and respond to medical information requests from customers.
• Spend majority of time on customer-facing activities and build trusted relationships.
• Coordinate with Lilly resources and cross-functional teams to facilitate collaborations.
• Demonstrate strategic analysis, planning, and prioritization to maximize efficiency.
• Ensure compliant partnerships across field roles and use territory analytics for targeting.
