Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking an Associate Director, International Tax to lead U.S. international tax compliance, planning, and process improvements within a biopharma setting. Hybrid Rahway, NJ; travel as needed.

Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing tax forms (5471, 8858, 8865, 1118, 8992, 8993), performing Subpart F/GILTI/FDII calculations, supporting ASC 740, and managing CBCR and Pillar Two reporting in a global context.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in international tax.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. international tax rules.
• Bachelor's degree; advanced degree or CPA preferred.
• Experience with global tax transparency initiatives.
• Proficiency with Corptax International, Alteryx, Power BI, Power Query.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review tax compliance forms (e.g., Forms 5471, 8858, 8865, 1118, 8992, 8993).
• Perform tax calculations (Subpart F, GILTI, FDII, foreign tax credits).
• Support ASC 740 tax accounting.
• Manage country-by-country reporting (CbCR, Pillar Two).
• Assist cross-border structuring.
• Coordinate dividend/tax-efficient cash repatriation.
