Job Description:
This Associate Director, Communications will co-create, drive and advance fresh, culture-driven integrated communications programs that generate earned media and social conversation across traditional and new outlets and channels. You know how to tell a story that will work in today's ever-evolving media environment, and will partner with internal and agency teams to create and secure compelling storytelling opportunities across and support partnerships and news moments across some of the biggest moments in culture.
The role is built for someone who understands and has practical experience in uncovering and engaging with the voices that drive modern earned media influence. The ideal candidate will be a driver across key consumer communications clients across a range of verticals (e.g. lifestyle, travel, dining, sports, entertainment, etc...).
Responsibilities for this role will include serving as a day-to-day client and team leader. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cultural trends, proven working knowledge of today's media landscape, strong writing skills, and experience building programs that deliver earned results. This person will be responsible for developing integrated communications strategies that proactively and reactively achieve key business objectives. They will effectively drive a workstream forward while managing up and guiding more junior team members.

The Company is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base compensation range for this role is $90,000 - $105,000 and this position is eligible for benefits that include medical insurance (health, dental, and vision), retirement plan, paid time off, paid parental leave, new business and employee referral bonuses, etc. Please note that the compensation information provided is a good faith estimate for New York City based hires only and is provided pursuant to the New York City Pay Transparency Law. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as candidates' relevant work experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
