Job summary

Arabella Advisors seeks an Associate Director of Communications to oversee a wide range of internal and external communications for the firm and its clients. The role requires expertise in strategy, messaging, media relations, and cross-functional collaboration to advance social change initiatives.

The ideal candidate will manage messaging, develop and execute communications plans, and measure impact across diverse audiences, including executives and nonprofit partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
• Five or more years of communications experience in a business or nonprofit with a social change mission.
• Ability to lead multiple projects and maintain organization.
• Strong ability to develop relationships across offices, teams and executives.
• Excellent writing, editing, and speaking skills.
• Experience with media outreach and analysis tools like Talkwalker, Cision, Meltwater.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day communications for Arabella and client initiatives.
• Lead strategy development and identify new channels for communications.
• Coordinate multi-stakeholder input and ensure coherent messaging.
• Develop and track metrics to evaluate impact and reach of communications.
• Manage communications calendars and client updates.
• Contribute to media relations and crisis communications efforts.
• Create guides, resources, and trainings for communications teams.
• Lead periodic briefings for internal teams on marketing efforts.
• Handle additional projects as needed.
