Job summary

ORIX USA—part of ORIX Growth Capital—seeks an Associate Director for underwriting and portfolio management in New York. You will evaluate investments, conduct industry research, build financial models, and coordinate deal closing with senior management and investors.

You will lead due diligence, prepare investment memoranda, and collaborate with portfolio companies, legal teams, and executives to drive growth of the ORIX Growth Capital brand.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with attention to detail.
• Experience in investment banking, private equity, or growth technology is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities for memoranda and investment materials.

Responsibilities

• Perform industry and economic research to analyze trends and risks on investment opportunities.
• Create financial models using company and industry factors and macro trends for investment decisions.
• Lead due diligence efforts and coordinate data gathering for investment committee approval.
• Prepare term sheets, credit applications, and documentation for deal closing; coordinate legal review.
• Build relationships with new and existing clients and investors; monitor portfolio performance.
