Job summary

Merck is seeking an Investigator for the Global Security Insider Risk Trade Secrets Protection Program. The role focuses on identifying, mitigating, and investigating threats to Intellectual Property and assets from trusted insiders to prevent loss or misappropriation.

You will lead investigations, collaborate with IT Risk, HR, Legal, and other partners, and promote the program across the enterprise to strengthen security posture.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree is required.
  • Minimum of fifteen (15) years of investigative experience in Law Enforcement, Intelligence, Military, Corporate Security and demonstrated solid achievements.
  • Advanced investigative, interviewing and report writing skills.
  • Knowledge and Experience with Data Loss Protection technology, User Behavior Analytics, digital and cyber investigative techniques.

Job Description

Our company’s Global Security Group is seeking an Investigator for the Insider Risk Trade Secrets (IRTS) Protection Program. The Investigator will help lead the Company’s effort in identifying, mitigating, and investigating threats to our Intellectual Property, Personnel, Products, or other Assets that originate from trusted insiders to ensure covered assets are protected from unauthorized access, loss, theft, or misappropriation.

Responsibilities

Education Minimum Requirement

  • Demonstrated experience interacting with and supporting senior leadership and government officials.
  • Develop actionable intelligence opportunities through continued liaison with Law Enforcement and Intelligence Agencies.

The salary range for this role is

$129,000.00 - $203,100.00

This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, government requirements, and business or organizational needs.

The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable.
