MBX Biosciences, Inc. is seeking an Associate Director, Formulation Development to play a critical role in the advancement of peptide therapeutics. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in formulation design, optimization, and regulatory compliance.
This is a dynamic role requiring strong analytical problem-solving skills and collaborative abilities, as well as a strategic mindset to advance innovative therapies. The position is based in Burlington, Massachusetts.
The Associate Director, Formulation Development will play a key role on MBX Biosciences’ CMC team, supporting the development of peptide therapeutics across our pipeline. Reporting into our Senior Director, Drug Product, this person will lead formulation design and optimization, oversee studies related to product quality and stability, and support development activities from early assessment through manufacturing transfer. The role requires strong scientific expertise in peptide or protein formulation development, collaboration across cross‑functional teams and external partners, and a focus on advancing innovative therapies in a fast‑paced biotech environment.
You will be expected to travel periodically based on the needs of the business to the extent requested by the Company, including attendance at Together Weeks, Together Days, and functional meetings as requested by the Company.
