Qualifications

  • Established track record for business development and existing client base.
  • PhD or MS in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or similar.
  • Have previously testified in deposition, trial, arbitration, or hearings.
  • Excellent expert report writing skills to complement analytics.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • The desire to lead, auxiliary tasks in a growing practice.

Responsibilities

  • Attracting and winning new business opportunities for Secretariat in both expert witness and/or strategic consulting.
  • Strong background in identifying chemical composition and structures of various substances.
  • Mentoring and driving growth of staff.

ABOUT OUR ENGINEERING SCIENCES TEAM

As part of our expanding Global Engineering and Scientific consulting team, you will work at the forefront of today's most complex engineering challenges. You will be engaged in analyzing failures of a myriad of products from a variety of industries, but with a heavy focus on large industrial facilities like power plants, Oil & Gas facilities, chemical processing plants, construction, and similar. Outside of that work, you will be engaged in automotive, consumer products, consumer electronics, and medical devices.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Attracting and winning new business opportunities for Secretariat in both expert witness and/or strategic consulting
  • Strong background in identifying chemical composition and structures of various substances.
  • Mentoring and driving growth of staff
  • Providing project management and project budget oversight
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Established track record for business development and existing client base
  • Requisite professional degrees and ~ 5+ years of work experience:
    • PhD or MS degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or similar
    • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Have previously testified in deposition, trial, arbitration, or hearings
  • Excellent expert report writing skills to complement analytics
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent listening, verbal, written, technical, and presentation skills
  • The desire to lead, auxiliary tasks associated with a growing practice within a rapidly growing firm
