Job summary

HKA in Chicago is seeking an Associate Director of Digital Forensics to lead forensic engagements across computers, mobile devices, cloud platforms and email systems. You will oversee collections, examinations, and reporting, while maintaining strict chain of custody and working with legal teams.

This hybrid, full-time role requires 5+ years in digital forensics or eDiscovery, with deep tool proficiency and a consultative client-facing approach. Occasional travel to client sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of digital forensics or eDiscovery experience.
• Proficiency with leading forensic tools including Magnet AXIOM, EnCase, Cellebrite, Oxygen Forensics, FTK or Nuix.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace and Relativity.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct forensic collections from computers, mobile devices, cloud platforms and email systems.
