Job summary

Deciphera Pharmaceuticals, Inc. seeks an Associate Director Clinical Scientist to drive the clinical development plan for candidate products, collaborating with Project Leaders and Medical Directors to operationalize studies and monitor data in real time to ensure trial integrity.

You will generate and review study documents and interpret outputs for regulatory and publication purposes. You will work with Biostatistics, Pharmacovigilance and other stakeholders to review tables/listings/figures

Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent with 5+ years pharma clinical development experience.
• Bachelor or Master’s with 10+ years pharma clinical development experience.
• Strong organizational skills to ensure data collection and documentation.
• Ability to interact with internal and external partners effectively.
• Experience with clinical data analysis.
• Ability to influence decision-making within a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Business Travel: up to 20% may be required.
• Experience across Phase I-III drug development trials with hematology-oncology or rare disease focus.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring of clinical data: perform high level data review for quality and patient safety and elevate issues as needed.
• Generation and review of study documents: author concept sheets, protocols, investigator brochures, regulatory documents.
• Preparation of clinical outputs: interpret study outputs for internal/external interactions and SAP updates.
• Study team and site communication: organize and present data to advisory boards, investigator meetings and study committees.
