Job summary

University of Florida's CTSI is seeking an Associate Director of Clinical Research to partner with the COO and Director of Translational Work Force Development to steer programs across translational research. The role oversees CRP development, MSTP/T32 program administration, and cross-campus initiatives, ensuring compliance with regulations and alignment with NIH CTSA goals.

A strong leader with experience in education, research navigation, and stakeholder engagement is essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in an appropriate area with 4 years' relevant experience, or a bachelor’s degree with 6 years.
• RN with Clinical Research Coordinator experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, project management and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design, development and implementation of Clinical Research Professional (CRP) development and training programs within Translational Workforce Development.
• Manage and oversee the Translational Workforce Development MD/PhD (TWD-K12 and T32) Administration Team and related programs.
• Coordinate CTSI Professional Development Courses and cross-hub initiatives with UF+FSU CTSA hub.
• Facilitate Research Professionals Networks and CTSA Working Groups; support mentor programs and manuscript development.
• Participate in strategic planning with CTSI COO and Workforce Development leadership; ensure compliance with regs and foster collaboration.
• Formulate policies for Translational Workforce Development and manage resources to support human subject research.
