Job summary

Evinova, a health-tech specialist within AstraZeneca, seeks an Associate Director to lead quantitative COA science across clinical and real-world settings. The role drives patient-centered measurement strategy, develops endpoints, and supports dissemination to regulators, payers, and healthcare professionals.

The candidate will partner with study teams and external partners to ensure patient-centric, rigorous outcomes.

Qualifications

  • PhD or equivalent in health outcomes research, epidemiology, or related field.
  • Clinical and research experience in COA endpoints, PROs, or health economics.
  • Experience with regulatory interactions and HTA processes is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical expertise and guidance across GLP, SHE, and regulatory standards.
  • Plan, execute, and interpret diverse research studies and report results clearly.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Lead data evaluation processes including adverse event interpretation and anomaly recognition.
  • Develop and validate experimental methods and analytical tools to improve quality and compliance.
  • Manage own workload to meet targets and ensure timely delivery.
  • Ensure documentation meets internal and external requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Mentor less experienced colleagues and foster a collaborative learning environment.
  • Engage with literature and scientific communities to stay updated on advances.
  • Contribute to change management initiatives and share information with other areas.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and internal standards.
