Bayside Solutions is seeking an Associate Director of Clinical Data Management for a W2 contract role in a remote-friendly environment, based in Redwood City, CA. The role requires extensive CDM leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and oversight of data management activities across trial phases.
The candidate will define data management strategy, manage external vendors, ensure data quality, and lead CRF design, SAE reconciliation, and data listings.
This position has a key role in the day-to-day management of Clinical Data Management (CDM) activities. Including timely and professional management of clinical trial data for all relevant phases. Represents our CDM in Clinical Team meetings. The Associate Director, Clinical Data Management, will be required to collaborate closely with other functional leaders to ensure clinical trial success. Defines project-level data management strategy. Identifies requirements for capturing and processing of clinical data, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and completeness. Manage external vendors providing clinical data. Manages and/or performs data management tasks according to strict quality standards, including SAE reconciliation, third-party vendor data reconciliation, medical coding processing, protocol deviation collection, query management to identify errors and inconsistencies in clinical data, and ensures their resolution. Provides CDM oversight of outsourced and partner-resourced clinical trials, including scoping trials, project management, relationship management, approval of deliverables, and coordination of internal reviewers.
Clinical Data Management (CDM), 11+ years of early- and late-stage clinical trial experience, data management strategy and plans, CRO proposal review and oversight, vendor management, protocol review, CRF design and completion guidelines, EDC database development and testing, database maintenance and lock/unlock, SAE and external data reconciliation, medical terminology and coding dictionaries, protocol deviation tracking, query management, data quality control and auditing, data listings and summary table validation, data specifications and transfers, data standardization and modeling, ICH/FDA/GCP compliance, project and timeline management, SOP development, team leadership and mentoring, cross-functional collaboration, written and verbal communication, prioritization and problem-solving, oncology/solid tumor experience preferred, 5+ years of direct line management preferred
