Job summary

EPM Scientific seeks an Associate Director, Biostatistics to provide scientific leadership for late-phase programs in Parsippany, NJ. The role leads statistical strategy from design to regulatory submission and mentors a small team within a fast-paced biometrics function.

The candidate will oversee 1-3 direct reports, collaborate across Clinical Development, Data Management, and Operations, and drive rigorous methods and regulatory-ready outputs in a high-impact environment.

Qualifications

• PhD or MS in Biostatistics, Statistics, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Minimum 6+ years biostatistics experience within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences industry.
• Experience serving as a lead statistician on clinical development programs.
• Previous people leadership experience or demonstrated readiness to manage and develop team members.
• Experience supporting late-phase clinical development and observational studies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership across late-phase programs.
• Lead statistical strategy from study design through regulatory submission.
• Manage a small team of biostatistics professionals.
• Mentor 1-3 Biostatistics professionals and foster growth.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and CROs.
