Job summary

Hebrew Public seeks an Associate Director of Alumni and Community Engagement to lead national alumni strategy and manage signature middle school travel programs to Washington, DC and Israel. The role supports student recruitment and community initiatives across New York and California, collaborating with leadership to scale programming across regions.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional experience in program management, alumni or community engagement, education, nonprofit, or related field.
• Ability to build programs from the ground up and engage middle school communities.
• Willingness to travel frequently (DC, Los Angeles, Israel) for trips and events.
• Experience with CRM systems; Salesforce is a strong plus.
• Excellent relationship-building and communication across diverse families and regions.

Responsibilities

• Lead Alumni Program Strategy and Engagement across regions; coordinate events.
• Own database and CRM implementation planning, data migration, and adoption.
• Project manage DC and Israel trips and recruit participants and chaperones.
• Support student recruitment and broader community engagement initiatives.
