Job summary

Allergan Aesthetics, an AbbVie company, seeks an Associate Director, Aesthetics PCS Strategic Planning and Operations to guide strategic initiatives and cross-functional programs. You will partner with the PCS VP to shape priorities, drive complex projects, and optimize processes across the organization.

In this role you will lead franchise planning, design planning sessions, and ensure alignment with stakeholders while managing risks and milestones to enable successful product commercialization

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA or Master’s Degree preferred.
• 5+ years pharmaceutical or medical device industry experience strongly preferred.
• Proven strategic capabilities, organization, and communication skills.
• Effective communication, organizational and leadership skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a matrixed organization.
• Works well with cross-functional stakeholders and can own projects from idea phase to implementation, adapting and iterating as needed.
• Demonstrated relationship management, interpersonal skills, ability to motivate, lead, influence, and engage without direct authority.
• Ability to effectively present ideas and document complex processes in both written and oral communication.
• Proven track record of anticipating and resolving problems with good judgement and realism.
• Able to manage multiple, simultaneous projects with moderate-high complexity, often under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted strategic advisor and operational partner to the PCS Vice President, shaping priorities and improving team effectiveness.
• Lead franchise planning processes, including long-range strategic/financial planning and launch readiness.
• Design and coordinate strategic planning sessions, meetings, and cross-functional forums with clear accountability.
• Partner with cross-functional leaders to drive alignment on processes, milestones and activities.
• Oversee cross-functional initiatives ensuring progress, risk mitigation, and issue escalation.
• Monitor milestones, risks, dependencies, and decisions; establish operating rhythms and reporting.
• Stay updated on new processes and training opportunities, representing the team’s needs.
