Job summary

Berkadia is seeking an Associate Director to join our investment sales team in Utah. You will support live transactions while developing your own business development skills, collaborating across our mortgage banking and servicing platforms to deliver integrated capital markets solutions.

The ideal candidate is analytically minded, comfortable with outbound outreach, and eager to grow a long-term career in commercial real estate; requires a 1-4 year background in CRE or related field and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, real estate or related field.
• 1-4 years CRE, investment banking, finance, brokerage, underwriting or related analytical role.
• Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint; financial modeling experience preferred.
• Knowledge of ARGUS is a plus; real estate license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze CRE investment opportunities with financial statements, rent rolls, operating performance and valuation.
• Prepare underwriting, offering memorandums, broker opinions of value and client presentations.
• Research market fundamentals, comparable transactions, demographic trends and capital markets activity.
• Assist in preparing property marketing campaigns and investor outreach strategies.
• Collaborate with Mortgage Banking to deliver integrated capital markets solutions.
• Support transaction execution from initial engagement through closing.

What You’ll Do

As an Associate Director, you’ll become an integral member of an investment sales team by supporting live transactions while developing your own business development skills.

Responsibilities Include

• Analyze commercial real estate investment opportunities, including financial statements, rent rolls, operating performance and valuation.
• Prepare underwriting, offering memorandums, broker opinions of value and client presentations.
• Research market fundamentals, comparable transactions, demographic trends and capital markets activity.
• Assist in preparing property marketing campaigns and investor outreach strategies.
• Participate in property tours, client meetings and presentations.
• Build and maintain relationships with owners, investors and industry professionals.
• Prospect for new business through research, networking and targeted outreach.
• Maintain accurate market intelligence, ownership databases and pipeline reporting.
• Collaborate with Mortgage Banking professionals to deliver integrated capital markets solutions.
• Support transaction execution from initial engagement through closing.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Business, Accounting or related field.
• 1-4 years of experience in commercial real estate, investment banking, finance, brokerage, underwriting or a related analytical role.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Financial modeling experience preferred.
• Knowledge of ARGUS is a plus.
• Real estate license (or ability to obtain).
