Job summary

Invenergy, headquartered in Chicago, is seeking an Associate, Development to lead the development of data center projects across the United States, based in our Chicago office. The role requires coordinating with legal, engineering, environmental and interconnection teams to manage complex budgets and schedules.

You will interface with government officials, landowners and the public to clearly convey project objectives and benefits, while traveling up to 25% as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 3–5 years of work experience in energy industry or relevant experience.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to travel as needed, anticipated 25% of the time.
  • Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future.

  • Represent Invenergy LLC with customers, landowners, state and local officials and other stakeholders.

Job Description

As an Associate, Development, you will be responsible for leading development of data center projects across the US. The position will be at Invenergy’s Chicago office.

Required Qualifications

  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or work experience in business or engineering.
  • Several years of experience in similar role.
  • Understanding of the energy industry and development of renewable energy and real estate projects.
  • Strong public speaking, communication, and personal skills.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to quickly learn new topics and act decisively and strategically in a fast-paced business environment with competing deadlines.
  • Must be self-directed and driven, with the ability and desire to effectively lead.
Base Pay

$85,000.00 - 103,000.00 USD Annual

The base pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for the position. Invenergy considers a number of factors when determining base pay offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education and skills.

In addition to base pay, the total annual compensation package may also include eligibility to participate in our bonus program(s) which are designed to reward individual and company performance. Your recruiter can share more about bonus eligibility for this position during the hiring process.

  • Bonus: 20% - 30%
