Obra Capital is seeking an Associate, Derivatives Operations to join its New York office. Reporting to the Head of Operations, this role will support the firm’s growing credit platform and continued expansion into equity derivative securities. The Associate will be responsible for end-to-end middle office operational support across equity derivatives, including options, futures, forwards, synthetics, ETFs, and related instruments.
This position sits within the middle office and works closely with portfolio managers, traders, and internal infrastructure teams (Accounting, Finance, Tax, Compliance, and Legal), as well as external service providers and counterparties. The role requires a strong understanding of the trade lifecycle, operational controls, and valuation processes, with the ability to enhance reporting and operational workflows through data analysis and system optimization.
In accordance with New York State pay transparency laws, the expected base salary range for this position is $90,000–$120,000, commensurate with experience. Total compensation may include a discretionary bonus based on individual and firm performance.
