Job summary

42North Dental is seeking a General Dentist to lead the patient experience from initial exam through treatment delivery, with in-office specialties including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery and orthodontics.

The role requires a DMD or DDS, current licensure, and the ability to provide comprehensive dental care with a team-oriented approach; sign-on bonuses and benefits are offered as part of a supportive practice.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state dental license to practice.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and discuss treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients and update medical/dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth/jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high quality care and ethics; stay updated on new developments.
