Job summary
42 North Dental in Hollidaysburg, PA is seeking a full-time General Dentist to deliver comprehensive care from exam to treatment. In-office specialties include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics, with a focus on preventive dentistry and patient education.
You’ll work 4–5 days weekly, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with a daily guarantee or up to 36% of collections. Earn up to a $20,000 sign-on bonus and enjoy a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental and vision coverage,
Qualifications
- DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
- Current state license to practice dentistry.
- Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
- Proof of malpractice insurance.
- BLS or CPR certification.
Responsibilities
- Promote oral health and disease prevention
- Diagnose oral diseases
- Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
- Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health
- Review treatment plan options with patients
- Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
- Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
- Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws
- Provide restorative and preventive dental care
- Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone, and soft tissues
- Maintain high standards of care and ethics
- Stay updated with new developments and continuing education
