Job summary

42 North Dental in the United States is seeking a Dentist to join our team for part-time hours. The role covers the full clinical patient experience, from exams to treatment planning and delivery of care, including in-office periodontics, endodontics, and orthodontics. Daily rate ranges from $750 to $900 USD, with part-time Saturdays.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state dental license to practice in the US.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient's oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues
• Maintain high quality standard of care and ethics
• Keep abreast of new developments through continuing education
