Job summary

42 North Dental in Boston roots invites a dentist to lead the patient care journey from exam and diagnosis to treatment delivery. You will guide the entire clinical experience and collaborate with a strong patient flow across a modern practice.

The role covers in‑office specialties including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery and orthodontics, with ongoing education and mentorship within a Doctors network.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA‑accredited program.
• Active state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient’s oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x‑rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism.
• Keep abreast of new developments, technologies and standard of care through CE.

Education

DMD/DDS degree (ADA CODA)

Active state dentistry license

Hepatitis B vaccination
