42 North Dental seeks a General Dentist to deliver comprehensive patient care from exams and treatment planning to delivery of care. In-office services include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

The Dentist will manage the full clinical experience, with a strong emphasis on quality care and patient communication. Benefits include a sign-on bonus and a path to equity through a supportive network of doctors.

Qualificações

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans.
• Perform restorative and preventive dental care.

Responsibilities:

Promote oral health and disease preventionDiagnose oral diseasesEducate patients on oral health and various treatment optionsCreate treatment plans to maintain or restore patient's oral healthReview treatment plan options with patientsReview, maintain and update patients' medical and dental recordsReview and interpret x-rays and diagnostic testsMonitor growth and development of the teeth and jawsProvide proper restorative and preventive dental carePerform surgical procedures on the teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavityMaintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalismKeep abreast of new developments, technologies, best practices and standard of care through current continuing education courses and professional development

Skills & Qualifications:

DMD or DDS degree from a university-based dental education program accredited by the American Dental Association Commission on Dental Accreditation (ADA CODA)Current state license to practice dentistryDocumentation of Hepatitis B vaccinationProof of malpractice insuranceCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) or cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification
