Job summary

42North Dental, founded by dentists for dentists, seeks a full-time General Dentist to deliver comprehensive patient care in a fast-growing practice in Enfield, CT. You will manage exams, treatment plans and in-office specialty services including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Evidence of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Malpractice insurance coverage and BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Create treatment plans and present options to patients.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Review and maintain patient records and radiographs.
• Maintain high standards of ethics and professionalism.

Responsibilities:

Promote oral health and disease preventionDiagnose oral diseasesEducate patients on oral health and various treatment optionsCreate treatment plans to maintain or restore patient's oral healthReview treatment plan options with patientsReview, maintain and update patients' medical and dental recordsReview and interpret x-rays and diagnostic testsMonitor growth and development of the teeth and jawsProvide proper restorative and preventive dental carePerform surgical procedures on the teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavityMaintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalismKeep abreast of new developments, technologies, best practices and standard of care through current continuing education courses and professional development
