Job summary

42North Dental in Rochester, NH seeks a Dentist to lead clinical care from examination through treatment planning to delivery of high quality dental services. The role covers preventative, restorative, and surgical procedures with collaboration across specialties to ensure excellent patient outcomes.

Ideal candidates hold a DDS or DMD, active NH license, Hep B vaccination, malpractice insurance, and BLS/CPR certification.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program
• Current state license to practice dentistry
• Hepatitis B vaccination documentation
• Proof of malpractice insurance
• Current BLS/CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patients' oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x‑rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone, and soft tissues
• Maintain high quality standards of care and ethics
• Keep abreast of new developments through continuing education and professional development
