Job summary

42 North Dental in Andover, MA, is seeking a Doctor of Dental Medicine or Doctor of Dental Surgery to lead comprehensive patient care from initial exam to treatment delivery. You will oversee therapy planning and coordinate with periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics within our established practice.

The role emphasizes high-quality care, ethical standards, ongoing education, and collaboration with a strong network of doctors.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism.
• Keep abreast of new developments and best practices through continuing education.

Education
