Job summary

42North Dental is seeking a dentist to promote oral health and disease prevention while diagnosing conditions and educating patients on treatment options. You will create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health and ensure comprehensive, high-quality care.

The role requires a DMD/DDS with a state license, Hepatitis B vaccination, malpractice insurance, and BLS/CPR certification. Excellent mentorship and ongoing CE opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Active state dental license to practice.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient’s oral health
• Review treatment options with patients
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures on the teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients
• Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism
• Keep abreast of new developments, technologies, best practices and standard of care through current continuing education courses and professional development

Education

DMD or DDS degree (ADA CODA accredited)

Current state dental license

Hepatitis B vaccination documentation

Proof of malpractice insurance

BLS/CPR certification
