42 North Dental in Massachusetts is seeking a Dentist to lead the complete clinical patient experience—from initial exam and treatment plan to delivery of care with in-office specialties including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from CODA-accredited program and license to practice dentistry.
• Hepatitis B vaccination documented.
• Malpractice insurance coverage provided.
• BLS or CPR certification current.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Maintain and update patients' dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high standards of care and ethics.
• Stay current with new developments and continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree from CODA-accredited program

Current state license to practice dentistry

Hepatitis B vaccination

Proof of malpractice insurance

Current BLS/CPR certification
