Job summary

Star Dental seeks an Associate Dentist to deliver high-quality general dental care in Denver. This W-2, in-person role offers flexibility with no preset schedule and both full-time and part-time arrangements based on mutual availability and practice needs.

Compensation is variable, based on 32% of collections, with earnings undefined by a guaranteed base salary. The practice serves diverse patients, including those with Medicaid or PPO plans, at 1490 S Sheridan Blvd, Denver, CO.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school.
• Active Colorado dental license, or eligibility to obtain one before beginning clinical work.
• General and restorative dentistry skills appropriate to the procedures accepted.
• Ability to diagnose, treatment plan and communicate options without unnecessary or overly aggressive treatment.
• Clear, respectful communication with patients and team members.
• Reliable, professional and team-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive examinations, diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Provide restorative dentistry, including fillings, crowns, and bridges.
• Provide endodontic treatment within the dentist's training and clinical judgment.
• Perform simple and surgical extractions within the scope of general dentistry.
• Evaluate and treat dental emergencies.
• Care for children and adults while adapting communication and treatment to each patient's needs.
• Explain findings, alternatives, risks and outcomes clearly to obtain informed consent.
• Work closely with dental assistants, hygiene and front-office team members.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical records and follow safety standards.
• Refer appropriately when specialist care is best or when case falls outside scope.
