Job summary

42 North Dental in the Boston-area practice is seeking a Dentist to lead the patient care experience from initial exam and treatment planning to delivery of care, including in-office periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

Ideal candidates hold a DMD or DDS, a current state license to practice dentistry, Hepatitis B vaccination, malpractice insurance, and BLS/CPR certification. The position offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Vaccination for Hepatitis B.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on the teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism.
• Keep abreast of new developments, technologies, best practices and standard of care through continuing education.
