Job summary

42 North Dental in Portland, CT is seeking a Dentist to lead the clinical patient experience from exam to treatment delivery, including in-office specialties such as periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

You will promote oral health, diagnose diseases, educate patients, create and review treatment plans, interpret x-rays, perform surgical procedures, and maintain high ethical standards. A commitment to continuing education and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues
• Maintain high ethical standards and professionalism
