Job summary

42 North Dental, built by dentists for dentists, is seeking a Dentist to join our established practice near Boston. You will manage the full patient experience from exam and treatment planning to delivery of care, with in-office specialty services including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery and orthodontics.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review and maintain patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x‑rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide preventive and restorative dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth and surrounding tissues.
• Maintain high standards of care and professional ethics.

Education

DMD or DDS degree from a university-based dental education program accredited by the American Dental Association Commission on Dental Accreditation (ADA CODA)

Current state license to practise dentistry

Hepatitis B vaccination

Malpractice insurance

BLS or CPR certification
